You have to just envy all that that the Xbox 360 video game consoles have really brought to the table, with regards to how many awesome video game titles that hey have to offer and the many great features that the Xbox 360 video game consoles are just jam packed with. To name a few great things that I really like about the Xbox 360 video game consoles, as the list could be never ending – as the Xbox 360 video game consoles are some pretty awesome devices – I will try to keep it short and sweet for you. One, the Xbox 360 video game consoles have over five hundred games to choose from and growing, which means that there is literally something out there for everybody. Two, you can use the Xbox 360 video game consoles as a media machine and music player and even link it to your Windows PC. Three, Xbox 360 video game consoles also double as a DVD player to watch your favorite movies on. Four, you can use Xbox 360 video game consoles to play awesome video games on Xbox live, where you can also download or watch movies and games as well. WHEW – that is a lot to offer, and just the tip of the iceberg!

When it comes to games on the Xbox 360 video game consoles that can really freak you out, have I got a great title for you to check out. I recently got my hands on, what is perhaps, the scariest Xbox 360 video game consoles title I have ever played in the dark. A really cool new release that is called F.E.A.R Files for the Xbox 360 Video Game Consoles. This game puts you in the suit of an elite and covert government squad that deals with paranormal and extraterrestrial activity, and allows for you to track down an alien demon ghost girl as you try to unravel a shadow conspiracy that could threaten the existence of mankind. Try playing this game in the dark like I did the other day, and you might find yourself a bit freaked out, the noises, the dark levels; everything about this game literally screams freakiness. In case you are looking to get your hands on a copy of this hot-selling title, I found a store called Shop Terrific Deals (located online at this web URL: http://www.shopterrificdeals.com) that still has some in stock for competitive prices.

http://www.sciencefictiongadgetsblog.com/2010/February/Playing-RPG-games-on-my-game-consoles-makes-me-the-knight-in-shining-armor.htm

I have always just loved playing RPG games ever since I was a little boy. These days I even have quite a few RPG games on my game console that I like to play both on my game consoles, and some awesome RPG games that I like to play online—where you can actually find some really great RPG game consoles titles that offer expansive and huge worlds where there are literally millions of other online gamers on at the same time. The best part, or I should say my favorite part about playing RPG games on the newer game consoles is that it puts you in the shoes of the hero – and in some newer RPG games you can actually choose to be the villain. Now if you ask me, that is pretty freaking cool. For me, when it comes to playing RPG games on game consoles, the best part is being that savior knight in armor who comes to the aid of the damsel in distress and saves her from the fire breathing dragon on a quest that spans many levels in the amazing open world RPG games levels that they have today which are rather impressive and delightful to the eyes, to say the least.

Reliving my Lego Days on Xbox 360 Game Consoles

http://www.sciencefictiongadgetsblog.com/2010/February/Reliving-my-Lego-Days-on-Xbox-36-Game-Consoles.htm

There are so many great game consoles that are out there currently, and I would have to say that it is hard for me to really put my finger down on what my favorite of these game consoles are because there are three of them – the Wii, the Xbox 360 and the PS3 game consoles – that are out there. But I have to say that there are tons of different games that you can play on the Xbox 360 game consoles that really bring me back to the fond days of my childhood, where I would play with cool kid’s games like Legos. Do you remember those cool building block games where you could basically create and design nearly anything that you could think of? Well today I am thrilled because they have some awesome Lego themed games that are out for the Xbox 360 game consoles that are not only great fun to play, but that really make me nostalgic for the trodden days of my youth. Indeed, I have actually been getting into the newer Lego games for the Xbox 360 game consoles, because the ones I have been seeing actually incorporate some favorite childhood movies into the games as well.

Take for example the Xbox 360 game consoles Lego games that I found today while I was shopping online for different games that I could get to add to my growing collection of titles on my Xbox 360 game consoles. I found a really great game called Lego Indian Jones for Xbox 360 Game Consoles that was on sale a great online store that I found for a smoking value. This cool game allows you to relive the Indiana Jones adventure on your Xbox 360 game consoles but in Lego style. I already have the Lego Star Wars game for Xbox 360 game consoles, and this one is just great fun to play. Everything in the game is modeled using the classic Lego Bricks and Lego men, and you get to play the whole movie out as you try to beat different obstacles and strategies, and rack up points so you can unlock achievements and get further in the levels; these games are just great fun! In case you are wondering where I was able to get a deal on this newer Lego game for the Xbox 360 game consoles, the store I found it at is called Shop Terrific Deals, located online at: http://www.shopterrificdeals.com.

I have always been a fan of the many great RPG games that there are out there, and seemingly, with each and every passing day, the newer RPG games that they are coming out with are really awesome. The cool game consoles of today have some radically innovative RPG games that you can easily become lost in, in a world that takes you on a different journey, one that allows you to become a different character in a different world where anything can happen. If you are as a big of an RPG games nut as I am, then I am sure that you have seen some of these awesome RPG games for the game consoles that are currently out there. The new ones for the next generation game consoles feature huge and beautifully detailed open worlds that really wow your mind and your eyes. The cool thing is that these RPG games seemingly get better and more expansive with each and every single new release that comes out. For me, I love playing them because they transport me to a different world where I control the outcome of the destiny of mankind!

Science Fiction Gadgets Keep Getting Better

http://www.sciencefictiongadgetsblog.com/2010/February/Science-Fiction-Gadgets-Keep-Getting-Better.htm

There are some amazing ways that we can keep ourselves entertained and some of the devices look like science fiction gadgets, like this Coby Slim Personal CD Player With Mini AM/FM Pocket Radio And Speaker System. Not only does it look pretty space-age, but it does some amazing things which in my book, qualifies it for science fiction gadgets I don't want to be without. This is something I could use just about anywhere I go, especially when I'm working in the yard or we go on a picnic and don't want to be without the radio, whether for information or entertainment.

Since my husband and I work at home, we're at liberty to just pack up our laptops and head to the park to work. I'd love to be able to take this CD and radio along so we could listen to our favorite radio shows live instead of as podcasts later in the day. We listen faithfully to NPR each day because we get so much out of the information that the shows provide. With this particular setup, we could peck away on our laptops, get the work done, and not miss a thing, either.

The new MP3 players and this Coby CD player with the AM/FM radio are just illustrations of how far the technological community has progressed. We can put an entire entertainment system, including movies, in something that fits in a pocket and weighs just ounces. Twenty years ago, those would have been considered science fiction gadgets, but now they are standard fare for many. And game consoles are similar, too. Who would have thought that medical students could learn procedures using game consoles instead of real human beings or models which is the latest things they are using the Wii game consoles for, according to the news.

I decided to buy the Coby CD player because it is a good value and I can see a lot of uses for it around the house, the yard, and when we're camping or just out on a work picnic. I found it at Shop Terrific Deals at http://www.shopterrificdeals.com, and according to their site, the CD player and the radio both require AA or AAA batteries, but the speakers don't. They are completely wireless. It'll be a lot of fun to get the Coby portable sound system, and I know we'll get a lot of use of this. I love to buy science fiction gadgets that improve our lives and give more richness and texture to it than we had without them.

Taking a Break from Work on Game Consoles

http://www.sciencefictiongadgetsblog.com/2010/February/Taking-a-Break-from-Work-on-Game-Consoles.htm

Yesterday, around 5 pm, after finishing work I picked up a game consoles controller sitting on the coffee table and prepared to shoot it out online. My roommates love to make fun of my resemblance to a fast food drive-thru operator when the headset is on and I’m chatting it up to fellow gamers but as was the case last night, usually there is someone that has something interesting to say. A conversation about flat panel size was brought up in the pre-game lobby and as everyone listed the average screen size, some older guy with a deep voice chimed in, “I’m playing on a 17-inch screen.” “Are you serious” was pretty much how everyone responded.

There is nothing wrong with that small of screen but for online game consoles play, screen size is important. He was quick to mention he had a 62” LCD at his house but was playing at the office right now. That is cool. Taking a game consoles break in between work is never a bad idea as long as the boss doesn’t stroll in.

Science Fiction Gadget Helpful on the Trail

http://www.sciencefictiongadgetsblog.com/2010/February/Science-Fiction-Gadget-Helpful-on-the-Trail.htm

Pretty much every single sc-fi movie I’ve ever seen has at least on scene where the main character is using some form of a walkie-talkie. This could be the most common science fiction gadget to hit the big screen and for good reason. Having the ability to instantly chirp a friend or relay messages when cell phones aren’t a possibility is an invaluable asset. Just a couple of weeks ago a couple friends and myself went exploring in some mountain trails bordering the ocean over here in Southern California. One of the guys brought along a pair of walkie-talkies recently bought from an online spy gear store that he wanted to test the distance with.

I volunteered and ran way up the trail in front of everyone seeing if they could still read me in 100 yard increments. It got the point where I was off the beaten path climbing up a steep dusty hill face just to lose the signal but the little pieces of spy gear kept working. After no luck, I came back. Asking how long they are supposed to go he smirked and said half a mile.

Helping Friends Find Cool Gadget Gifts

http://www.sciencefictiongadgetsblog.com/2010/February/Helping-Friends-Find-Cool-Gadget-Gifts.htm

I’m so good at helping people find appropriate gifts for others that sometimes I even impress myself. I recently helped my friend Cathy find a great gift for her husband Robert who has been friends with my husband since they served in the US marines together. Robert is the kind of man who has everything and Cathy was struggling for gift ideas for his birthday.
When Cathy told me about her predicament I thought about her husband Robert and his hobbies and preferences. Robert has much in common with my husband in that he is an outdoors man who enjoys hiking, hunting and fishing. They also shares a love of history and technology. I started thinking about all of the gadget gifts my husband already has but Robert might not.
One of the best gadget gifts I ever bought my husband is his metal detector. My husband and his friend Gilbert have been out with their metal detectors several times and had a blast. However my husband has never mentioned using metal detectors with Robert even though they regularly hunt, fish and hang out together. That metal detector is one of the coolest gadget gifts I ever bought my husband and it has given him many hours of pleasure. That is why I asked Cathy if Robert had one and told her about my husband having fun with his. When she told me he didn’t have one I already knew by the expression on her face that she thought it was an excellent gadget gifts idea.
A few minutes later Cathy and I sat in front of the computer in my study and began looking for a metal detector for Robert. We looked at various products at a few different ecommerce stores. Eventually we came to a shopping website called Shop Terrific Deals which is located at the URL http://www.shopterrificdeals.com. We soon noticed that the Shop Terrific Deals website sells things like spy gear, game consoles games and other cool gadget gifts at reasonable prices so we decided to take a closer look. That is how we found this Bounty Hunter Land Ranger Professional Metal Detector with LCD Display:

Bounty Hunter Land Ranger Professional Metal Detector with LCD display

We read the product description and found out that this metal detector comes with touch-pad control panel with gold/silver ranges and probable target ID fields, 5 indicator/adjustment dials, Smart Trac® ground control, an 8 inch interchangeable waterproof search coil, a quarter inch stereo headphone jack and a five year warranty.
Cathy was delighted with our find and the fact that the metal detector is selling for less than the standard retail price so she bought if for Robert. I’m just pleased that it is possible to find really cool gadget gifts selling at low prices at online at websites like Shop Terrific Deals, especially when it means I can help a friend get what she needs.

My husband has not been able to work today. He will not be going into work tomorrow. Things in Harford County where we live and in Baltimore City where my husband works have pretty much ground to a complete halt. My husband and I are raising three kids and they are not at school. They have not been to school all week and with another storm forecast for Monday and several feet on the ground already we are not sure when they will go back. Everyone is starting to get cabin fever and I am very glad that we have numerous game consoles in our house.
My husband, my grandchildren and I have been playing games on these game consoles while we are stuck at home. I think that without the game consoles, DVD players, laptop computers and HDTV sets we have in our home things would be a lot different right now because boredom usually leads to misadventure, especially where children are concerned. With two adults and three kids living at home it really is a good job that we have game consoles and other technology to keep us occupied or else we might drive each other crazy. That’s why I feel fortunate at the moment. I would not like to have been in this situation before modern technology was invented.

Online games free my mind during these times. There is nothing like forgetting about everything else and playing a simple card game or puzzle brain teaser to get back in the mindset of work. We all get lunch breaks but I think there should be a 15 minute break every single full work day to play online games free of being reprimanded. At the moment, I get most of my work done from a home office so it is nothing to go flip on one of the game consoles but there have been those moments when a taskmaster boss got on my case for not working 24/7.

No one can do their best work non-stop. We all need breaks. It is much of the reason I think people made websites to play online games free. They knew what day after day of office work can do to a person. The simple things away from work always seem to get my brain ready and willing to get back into it.

From then on I could not wait to unwrap his presents on any holiday because there was always some form of a wind up robot, binoculars, hearing devices, etc. Much of what he used to read about as a kid in science magazines can now be purchased online. I wonder if this is what will happen when I get older.

Decades from now, I really hope to see that Jetsons science fiction gadget that creates food out of thin air. A person selects what they want on a microwave looking device and poof there it is steaming hot. The science fiction behind it is the machine can meld any formula of matter together to create any type of food. This science fiction gadget would end world hunger, make grocery stores a thing of the past and be the real definition of an instant meal. My stomach is rumbling just thinking about it.

http://www.sciencefictiongadgetsblog.com/2010/February/Hours-Turn-to-Weeks-when-RPGs-are-in-Game-Consoles.htm

If there are gamers out there looking for the most bang for their online buck go no further then an RPG. Every single time I have started one of these intricate stories I never seem to get to the very end. This is for a few reasons. The first is new game consoles allow RPGs to have some seriously expansive environments. Miss an important science fiction gadget clue or forget to talk to that certain someone in a city, it is a real trek to backtrack. I’m more of linear gamer. I like open environments but it is nice to have a frame of reference. It is near impossible to remember everything in a map that can’t be covered in hours or sometimes days.

RPGs thanks to game consoles nowadays border on a Hollywood movie. The characters are thought out, there are those little things always missed the first time around and the cinematics can blow my mind. They are not a game you sit down and beat in 14 hours. I have a specific RPG that I’ve never beat. It got to the point where something else I wanted came out on game consoles and I just never got back into it. It’s a great one too. Some rainy day I’ll conquer that sucker.

If you are as big of a fan of RPG games as I am, then allow me to tell you that you can easily find tons of great RPG games on the next generation video game consoles these days! No matter what next generation video game consoles that you happen to own, love or enjoy playing, there are some really smoking hot RPG games titles out there that will make you a very happy gamer. For me, I have been into playing such games for years, long before the debut of these candid and very capable next generation video game consoles hit the market. In fact, you could find me playing RPG games on my PC years ago, when there were not any next generation video game consoles or any game consoles at all for that matter. There are several reasons why I love and adore and enjoy playing such games. For one, you are able to take on a different persona or an alter ego if you will, where you can escape to a wonderful fantasy world that nearly places you as the hero in a novel, where the fate of the world rests on your shoulders. Two, whenever I get stressed out from real life I can escape my troubles and worries by getting into the RPG games that I so enjoy playing.

I am sure that you may be wondering what great RPG games there are out there for the next generation video game consoles so that you can get your hands on some. There is one new RPG game title that I have been just getting into that is currently a hot seller on the next generation video game consoles called: Final Fantasy XI. This is another hit game a long series of RPG games that actually began way back during the computer days, before such next generation video game consoles; so I have been enjoying this series for years and years. This game, however, has a huge open world that you can explore, countless quests that you can embark upon, and tons of features that will just make any RPG games fan get giddy with excitement. If you are looking to get your hands on a copy of this hot game, finding one can be hard to do, but I aim to please. I actually found a really great online store called Shop Terrific Deals (which is located online at: http://www.shopterrificdeals.com) that has a few copies left in stock of this hard to find and very rare RPG games hit for the Xbox 360!

http://www.sciencefictiongadgetsblog.com/2010/February/Ordering-Gadget-Gifts-for-the-Holidays-Early-This-Year.htm

My reputation with friends and family is one of giving gadget gifts that are really useful. Today I struck gold with more useful gadget gifts when I found this flashlight that is mounted on a small tripod. I am buying one for each family I routinely give presents to, and even though it's a little early to do my holiday shopping for 2010, I think this Stanley 95-000FL Tripod Outdoorsman Flashlight is one of the best products I've seen in a long time and worth buying early.

We do a lot of camping and this tripod flashlight will come in really handy when cooking, reading, or just about anything else when in the great outdoors, and I don't know how many times I've asked someone to hold the flashlight for me. Those days are numbered in 2010 and once I get these gadget gifts, I'm going to take one for myself. The infrastructure in our neighborhood is old and our power goes out frequently, especially during the summer, and this is going to be stored in a kitchen drawer so I'll always know where it is.

According to the product description, the bulb will last 100,000 hours, which is a long time for any light bulb to burn. Like all LED products, it will not drain batteries nearly as fast as the old style flashlight bulbs, so I expect the batteries to last forever, too. This flashlight even has a low power indicator to let the users know when to get new AA batteries for it. Not only will these electronic gadget gifts be useful for camping and power outages, they will also be so useful when extra light is needed when doing home or car repair and even working on crafts.

I found the gadget gifts at Shop Terrific Deals at http://www.shopterrificdeals.com, the site I turn to for unique and useful presents for the family. It's fun to shop online. I can't imagine where I would find this tripod flashlight at the stores in my neighborhood and I think it's one of the best gadget gifts I've come up with in a long time. It's surprisingly affordable, too, so I'm not breaking the bank to order one for everyone on my gift list. I know that I'll get lots of good use from it, so as far as gadget gifts go, it's one of the more practical ones I have chosen in a long time.

I am a collector of gadget gifts and spy gear. My family and friends know this and it is why they buy me these types of gifts for Christmas and my birthday. The spy gear that is available online is amazing stuff. Items I might have read about in spy novels or magazines twenty years ago are now available for sale online to anyone who is into spy gear and gadget gifts. Many of the spy gear products were classified military and intelligence agency tools used during the Cold War but with the end of this era the products began to find their way to the public plus they became out dated in many instances by newer technologies. Products like red dot rifle and pistol scopes are now common place for sportsmen who like to target shoot and hunt. GPS is one such technology that was in use by the military during the seventies and eighties and the public knew nothing of this. Now GPS is in our cars, boats and backpacks to guide us to exactly where we want to go.

Kids Love to Play all the Latest Game Consoles

http://www.sciencefictiongadgetsblog.com/2010/January/Kids-Love-to-Play-all-the-Latest-Game-Consoles.htm

My husband and I are known by all the neighborhood kids as the people who have all the latest game consoles. I guess in a neighborhood where there are many children whose parents work most of the time, and we have a household where I work from home and my husband works shifts, news travels fast that the kids are welcome to pop in and use the game consoles to play some of their favorite games.

I actually think the word got out about a year ago when my husband asked one of the neighbors if they used any game consoles and if so, which ones. It sparked a conversation and also started this ongoing debate between some of the guys as to which game consoles are the best. My husband has held several game nights, where he invites the guys from the neighborhood, plus some of his friends over to play some of the latest games on the game consoles that he considers his favorite. Since he happens to have several game consoles, I'm not sure how he considers one more his favorite than the other, but I suppose he probably does.

I believe that when some of the younger boys heard about the game consoles and that their dads were coming over to play games sometimes, they wanted in on the action, so started stopping in from time to time to ask if they could play. I thought it was cute, and I'd usually bake cookies or cupcakes when that happened. One child told another about the multiple game consoles and before you know it, we have kids stopping in all the time. I really don't mind, and sometimes I order games specifically for the children to play, such as Take-Two Carnival Games that I found at Shop Terrific Deals whose online store can be found by visiting www.shopterrificdeals.com that I ordered last week. I've found that not only the price for game consoles is cheaper online, but also the games are cheaper too. Plus I don't have to get out and worry about whether a store has something or not, if you order online, you don't have to get out in the snow, and can order from the comfort of your living room if you prefer. I don't see my husband’s love for game consoles diminishing anytime in the near future and with the weekend coming up, I'd better get some cookies or cupcakes made for Saturday morning. I have a feeling the kids will show up early.

Solar Gadget Gifts Great to Give and Receive

http://www.sciencefictiongadgetsblog.com/2010/January/Solar-Gadget-Gifts-Great-to-Give-and-Receive.htm

Last night we walked over to our neighbors to watch a movie together and when we got to the sidewalk going to their front door, we noticed that had beautiful solar globe lights to light the steps. They were so cool and I asked them where they got them. They said that their son gave them these gadget gifts for Christmas and they were delighted with them. This is their first introduction to solar lights, and I thought they were great gadget gifts, and really smart things to have.

I've been solar cooking for a decade and know how powerful the sun is. One of my solar ovens gets up to 400 in the summer and 350 in the winter, so I know that the sun is a powerful way to create energy, whether it's for powering solar gadget gifts or cooking food. In fact, one of my friends lives completely off the grid and powers her house with electricity generated by solar panels.

I love finding gadget gifts that help us save energy, like these Allsop 29032 Solar Powered Red Globe Garden Art bulbs. As part of doing my part to raise the awareness of people, I often give solar cooking demonstrations at festivals to promote greening of the environment. I bring my ovens, cook food, and amaze people that such simple contraptions could create so much heat. In fact, there are gadget gifts like Fresnel lenses that will melt many metals and burn wood almost instantly. I don't demonstrate those to the public, but I do bring along a small Fresnel lens that will burn paper instantly just to show people. I've thought about giving small business card sized gadget gifts like these lenses to people who stop at my booth so they have a take-away to remember solar cooking, but haven't located a source for them yet.

I was so impressed with the beauty of these solar globes and asked where their son bought them. They got out the paperwork and gave me the name of the site, Shop Terrific Deals at www.shopterrificdeals.com. When I turned on the computer this morning, I looked for them and they are still in stock, so I ordered four of them to grace our front and back doors, too. We have two small solar lights at the back door and will put those somewhere else in the yard once we get these. I love getting solar gadget gifts for the home and garden and promoting the whole idea of solar energy.

http://www.sciencefictiongadgetsblog.com/2010/January/Using-spy-gear-to-hunt-predatory-animals.htm

My deer hunting partner and I have decided we have had enough of what the out of control population of coyotes are doing to the local deer, rabbits, and turkey's. He called yesterday to tell me he found another four of this years fawns dead from coyote attacks. This makes a total of fourteen young deer the local group of these predators have killed. These are just the deer we know of, and I am certain there are more we have not located. So Mike and I are going coyote hunting using what up until not that many years ago was considered spy gear. the spy gear we will be employing is night vision binoculars and rifle scopes. Due to recent changes in the laws concerning the hunting or trapping of predators it is now legal to hunt these animals at night in our state using spy gear like the night vision scopes and binoculars. We are going to take advantage of this newly available spy gear to protect the deer before they are all gone.
