I'm Grateful For Our Game Consoles Right Now |

We have had two bad snow storms in one week. My husband has not been able to work today. He will not be going into work tomorrow. Things in Harford County where we live and in Baltimore City where my husband works have pretty much ground to a complete halt. My husband and I are raising three kids and they are not at school. They have not been to school all week and with another storm forecast for Monday and several feet on the ground already we are not sure when they will go back. Everyone is starting to get cabin fever and I am very glad that we have numerous game consoles in our house. My husband, my grandchildren and I have been playing games on these game consoles while we are stuck at home. I think that without the game consoles, DVD players, laptop computers and HDTV sets we have in our home things would be a lot different right now because boredom usually leads to misadventure, especially where children are concerned. With two adults and three kids living at home it really is a good job that we have game consoles and other technology to keep us occupied or else we might drive each other crazy. That’s why I feel fortunate at the moment. I would not like to have been in this situation before modern technology was invented.
