I read the most interesting news article the other day. A couple suspected that their nanny had been stealing from them while they were at work. So they hopped online and ordered some different kinds of spy gear to monitor the house while they were away. This is where the story gets really interesting. They bought some micro-camera spy gear pieces that they hid in a teddy bear, and one that they hid in a precarious and out-of-sight spot in their bathroom so it could eye the jewelry box that the wife suspected that the nanny was stealing out of. The footage was what ultimately convicted the unsuspecting thief, who was caught by using the spy gear to film her; she stealing and neglecting the child. If you ask me, this is not that bad of an idea, as you never really know what somebody is up to. I still have faith in the kindness and honesty of the human spirit. And indeed, one apple doesn’t spoil the bunch. But sometimes it is good just to know for sure if you suspect foul play.
