Guys like gadget gifts. It doesn't really matter what kind of gadget gifts they are. They just like them. But, when you can give them a gift that has to do with something that they really enjoy, they are in heaven. My husband is an avid outdoorsman. I can get him any type of outdoor gadget gift and he will think it is the best thing ever invented. He just had a birthday a month ago and I had to think about some gadget gifts to get him. I didn't want just any type of gadget. It had to be something that had to do with the outdoors and camping.
I started looking online for gadget gifts and quickly came to a great website called Shop Terrific Deals. It is at the web address www.shopterrificdeals.com and they carry a large selection of gadget gifts and other items. While I was looking over the site for both gadget gifts and maybe a little something for myself, I found the perfect gift.
My husband is always working on something in the dark and even exploring caves. He has a pretty strong flashlight that he uses, but he has to carry it which makes it hard to do too much that needs two hands. One day, a few months ago, he kind of mentioned he might look into a headlamp for his night excursions. At Shop Terrific Deals I found a headlamp with an amazing price.
After looking at some reviews I bought the CYCLOPS CYC-ULH1-S Lightweight Headlamp. The thing only weighs 1 ounce and has a powerfully bright LED lamp on it. It is touch operated and my husband can wear it on his head, or over a hat for ease of use and being able to see in the night.
My husband is use to me buying him gadget gifts each year so he expects them. He doesn't know the exact type of gift, but he knows he is in for a treat. When he opened the headlamp, I was rewarded with the biggest smile I have ever seen. He quickly put it on and turned it on. In the world of gadget gifts, I have to say that a headlamp is the ultimate gadget. Since that day, he has been spending a lot of time working outside in the dark. He even takes the dog out for long walks at night now, so it's a win - win for both of us. |
