rpg games, game consoles Role playing games are no doubt popular in the digital world. We have all heard stories of people hauling up in their rooms playing RPG games for hours on end, missing the light of day. Or the Chinese teens employed to make fictional RPG games wealth that actually translates into real world cash. Personally my experiences with RPG games have been all been positive. But one thing is for sure they are never quick. The depth of story and time it takes to gain max XP can border on ridiculous. I guess this is the only way to create a fan base who on the extreme end of things have separate digital lives within RPG games.

At the other front are real time strategy games. These are shorter in length but still very control oriented. A single match could last hours while building up a civilization, creating trade partners and warring with opposing groups. I grew up of RTS games so they have a soft spot in my heart. The only computer game I have today is a real time strategy. They call for tactics, military strategery (word popularized by Bush) and long term planning to be successful. My vote goes for RTS titles on PC and RPG games on game consoles.
