game consoles

Last year my husband and I couldn't believe that we were the only one of our group of friends without any game consoles. We had never really thought about it, but we both stay so busy with work and other projects when we are home, that we don't spend any time playing game consoles unless we go to our friend’s homes. We have a group of friends who get together every other month and they rotate depending on whose house it's at as to what game consoles they'll play that month. My husband and I have never hosted, because we don't have any game consoles, and that would mean that someone would have to bring their own. They do usually bring their own controllers and that sort of thing, but my husband and I don't have anything to add to the fun other than ourselves, so often we don't go to the parties.

We finally decided that this year we would join the realm of the rest of our friends and start searching for game consoles that we would like to own. Granted, we're going to start with one, and not buy two or three. In fact, I'm not sure how much time we'll have to play one of the game consoles, but I think it will be fun to be able to invite everyone to our home for the January get together because we finally have game consoles and can participate in the party.

I know that my husband and his friends all have this "Rock Star" complex and talk sometimes about being a rock star for a day, so I think that out of all the game consoles available we're going to get the Wii and I'm going to order GH Aerosmith Walk this Way Wii. All of our friends order from them, and since they have the best prices around, we'll definitely do the same. I'm actually looking forward to having game consoles in the house. I think it will be fun and a little friendly competition between my husband and I is always good.
