Final Fantasy XI
When talking RPG games there is only one franchise since I was in elementary school that has been a hometown favorite for so long, Final Fantasy. From game consoles to the movies to millions of people all around the world, this franchise keeps fans coming back every single time. To be honest I never really got into it. I am more of a first person shooter, racing fan but there have been a few times I sat down and tried to dive deep into the Final Fantasy storyline. There is a lot of ground to cover in these titles. Even though it isn’t my favorite genre I see the appeal. Gamers really get into the plot. It is a cinematic experience (see the video below), all of the characters have a lot of depth and the story modes take some serious gaming to conquer. One of my buddies is obsessed with this story.
I never knew it because we always play shooters on our game consoles but randomly we started talking about our favorite titles on any game consoles of all time and he ranked the Final Fantasy franchise in his top 3. With the holidays coming up I have been thinking of what smaller gifts to get friends.
I would love to get everyone different gadget gifts but that would just cost too much. This specific friend did me a solid when I needed my oil changed, lending a hand and tools so I could get it done at home. It’s only right he get some kind of sweet holiday gift. I turned to an electronic retailer called Shop Terrific Deals at http://www.shopterrificdeals.com/. I have seen a lot of cool gadget gifts there so figured it was the place to start.
Immediately I saw some really cool tech. Heading over to the Xbox 360 section, I found the perfect gift. Affordable, has gotten some seriously great reviews and a sure favorite for my friend, Final Fantasy XI. After reading the product description I’m convinced he would love this discount game consoles title. Here’s what it said:
As the first MMO for the Xbox 360™, FINAL FANTASY XI is the only title capable of triple-platform simultaneous multiplayer, allowing players to take up arms together on a PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system, personal computer (PC) and Xbox 360™. As far as game consoles go, as the product description states no other game connects players from multiple systems in online mode. I wish more games did this. Until visiting Shop Terrific Deals, I never knew this was possible. Learn something new every day.
