It was not that many years ago spy gear was a closely guarded secret but with the end of the Cold War much of this formerly secret and highly sophisticated spy gear is now available on the open market to anyone who wishes to play James Bond. Actually, many of the available spy gear gadgets are very useful as home security and surveillance devices. Take mini-cams for example. They can be located in any room of your home to covertly observe what is taking place in the room. The owner can see what is happening on a monitor, much like the computer screen you are reading this on right now. Many parents use this type of spy gear to secretly tape what a home cleaning crew or baby-sitter has been doing while they were away from the home. The amount of spy gear on the market is staggering and while this spy gear if used properly can be a proper child safety tool it can also be used for less than honest means too. Maybe we should be more cautious who this spy gear is sold too.
