gadget gifts, spy gearI don’t think I have ever come across a male who did not enjoy receiving gadget gifts. My dad loves gadget gifts and so do my husband and two step-grandchildren. Because men seem to love gadget gifts it makes it easier to find presents for the males in my life.
I’ve noticed that wives, girlfriends, daughters and sisters do not always appreciate the gadget gifts men and boys play with, and I suspect that this makes them even more fun for them to have. I make mention of this because I am thinking of the time when my husband and I gave spy gear for our grandson Rick.
Rick’s spy gear came in the form of a remote control car with the capacity to listen in on other people’s conversations. Rick’s elder sister Alisha hates this particular item of spy gear because Rick uses it to listen in on her when she has a girlfriend over to play. He actually used it to find out about his sister’s crush, much to Alisha’s disgruntlement. Rick happens to be a very mischievous little boy with a big sense of humor. He loves his spy gear especially because his sister hates it.
