 After watching my son walk around with one of his favorite online RPG games, I thought I would see what all the fuss was about. I checked out a few of the free online games and checked out which ones I would enjoy playing. There were science fiction games, pirate RPG games, games where I could be a ninja, or the standard medieval type RPG game.

 I had a hard time figuring out which one I wanted to take part in. I like ninjas and the thought of sneaking around using my amazing skills would be a blast, but I grew up with Dungeons and Dragons so I was also partial to the fighter and monster combination. In the end, I decided on one of those online RPG games where I was a fighter that had to fight monsters of different strengths in order to gain more hit points and more power.

 I have to admit. I had a lot of fun. Actually, it got kind of addicting after awhile and I found myself spending a few extra hours to see how fast I could get to the next level. Online RPG games can be a lot of fun and I see why my son spends so much time in his alter reality.
