Spy Gear for the Road |

It is safe to say that I wish my life resembled something out of a 007 movie. I think little boys have a fascination towards spy gear implanted in their DNA. I know I do. Being that saving the planet from the world’s next megalomaniac is not in my cards, I have turned elsewhere to get my special agent on. Being that Bond always drives fast cars to the limit, I grew up with the same love for speed. The only problem was is I did not have an international pass to do whatever I wanted. I like everyone else had to be leery of the flashing red and blues when driving fast. As soon as I had enough money at 16 for a radar/laser detector I got one online. I consider these little devices as a civilian piece of spy gear. Even when following the rules of the road this spy gear made driving a bit more exciting.
Hearing the beeps and knowing a cop is nearby is just good stuff. There have been a few times when the spy gear radar detector picked up a hiding cop and another car without a radar detector blew by. I always try to flash the headlights as a warning but there have been a few instances when the person keeps on barreling down the road and I end up passing him as the cop is handing over a citation.
