Remembering Spy Gear Time |

Whenever we think of spy gear, most of the time, we think of the shaken not stirred James Bond. When I was a little kid it was just amazing to see all the cool spy gear toys my favorite action hero would use to get himself out of a bind. Sometimes I would go into my grandmothers’ backyard with my jacket and dark sunglasses playing with her clothe line pins as if they were some type of special spy gear item that could open all types of doors. I would walk around the house asking people questions like, “have you seen something suspicious mam?” my grandmother would amuse my spy gear inclinations and would create some type of mystery for me to solve and she would always end it with, “Be careful 007”. The cool thing was that for the little time that I would get into my spy gear mood, I would brainwash myself so well that I really felt like I was right smack in the middle of an international brouhaha and it was very satisfying as a little kid. I wonder what happened to all the gadget gifts I got from my granny and to all the forgotten villains that swore to get back at me.
