        When they hear the term spy gear, most people probably think of James Bond and all of the other secret agents that populate books, movies, and TV. But right now, spy gear is more accessible to the average person than ever before. Catalogs and websites promote all manner of spy gear from night vision devices to gizmos that can detect bugs in your home or on your phone line to tiny surveillance cameras that are almost impossible to detect and find. Personally, I love gadget gifts and think all types of spy gear are cool, even though I don't have a really practical use for most of it. I just like to have fun with the spy gear I purchase, such as night vision goggles, which I take out with me on camping trips. You can use spy gear like that to help you go on night hikes. You'd be amazed at all of the nocturnal animals you can spot when you have night vision goggles, or spy gear that amplifies your hearing. It's not really very polite to eavesdrop on people using listening devices, but it can be very funny. 
        That's why I think it's important to use any spy gear you get with discretion to avoid hurting anyone's feelings. You also need to be careful if you use spy gear to listen to others' conversations that you're not doing it in a way that violates any laws. For instance, it's strictly against the law to tap someone else's phone line. However, because I like to buy and collect spy gear as a fun hobby, I'm always looking for places where I can buy items like this at a discount. My only real problem with Shop Terrific Deals is choosing among all the cool gadget gifts and other items this huge website has for sale.
