        My older brother is like the Boy Scout of our family, always prepared for emergencies, with plenty of duct tape and his trusty tool belt always handy for quick repairs, fixes, and on-the spot modifications for everything. Since he's worked in emergency rooms before, his home medical kit is a small wonder, a little plastic case carefully packed with just about everything you'd need to doctor common wounds like cuts, scrapes, insect stings and so on. Believe me, with two little boys at home, I know he needs it all. Because my brother likes to be Mr. Preparedness, it makes him pretty easy to buy gifts for. That's fortunate, because he has pretty much all of the material comforts he needs, so it makes it challenging to come up with unique gifts for him each year. Since I'm single, with no one to help me shop or keep track of birthdays and other present-giving occasions, I'm always on the lookout for good gadget gifts for my Boy Scout brother, as well as spy gear and rpg games and stuff like that as gifts for my nephews.         Anyway, what got me started writing about all of this was my never-ending quest to get my brother, who has every gadget imaginable, the perfect gadget gifts. This is one of the best survival kits I've ever seen, and I was amazed at the good price for which I found it. It's a backpack style emergency kit that comes with an emergency poncho, blanket, medical supplies, multi-tool, and a lot of other stuff that would be useful in an emergency. I know my brother will love his GoGear 891001 Emergency Preparedness Kit. I bet he'll toss it in the back of his car and maybe order a couple more for his wife and house. At least it won't be in a closet gather dust like some of the less carefully chosen gadget gifts I've given him in the past.
