I wonder if game consoles will be replaced with RPG games. I have been playing games, both RPG games and video games on a game console for as long as I can remember. If I wasn't playing a game of D&D with some of my friends, we were blasting asteroids or going through a jungle safari on Pitfall. But, it seems that more and more the game console is gaining ground on the RPG game.

Online RPG games have suddenly popped up and have made quite an entrance into the world of video gaming. They combine both of the forms of gaming and present it into one very appealing package. I tried a free RPG game a few weeks ago and thought, that while it could use some fine tuning, it could just be a console game killer. The other thing I did notice was that you can play a lot of these games online free. There is nothing
else to buy. No game cartridges. No manuals or dice. I can definitely see myself playing more online RPG games for the foreseeable future.
