gadget giftsIf your husband or romantic partner is anything at all like mine then you cannot go wrong if you buy him gadget gifts for his birthday or during the holidays. In all honesty my husband’s attitude towards gadget gifts is amusing to me. I indulge his obsession for electronic gadget gifts just to see the look on his face.
When he was a kid my husband used to love watching Star Trek and other science fiction shows. Now many of the make believe inventions that made him gawp when he watched these TV shows are a reality. The gadget gifts I have purchased my husband since we got married include numerous remote controlled toys, a cell phone which you can use to watch TV, a Bluetooth headset, a Play Station 3, a digital camcorder and a good quality digital camera. To be fair he has used most of these gadget gifts extensively.
However there is one gift that he has yet to use and I am sure he wanted it just for the sake of having it. A few years ago I gave my husband a rather expensive metal detector for Christmas because he said he fancied looking for artifacts from the American Civil War. My husband has not yet used his metal detector though he has had it for ages now. When I ask him about it he claims that he hasn’t had the opportunity. Actually I had forgotten he even has one until quite recently and I fully intend to nag him into using it. I am sure once he does he’ll have a lot of fun.
